Introduction
Jesus didn’t just come to simply defeat death; He came to empty it of its power over our lives. In the Gospel of Mark, we follow the real Jesus as He confronts the brokenness of our world and brings resurrection to the places we thought were dead.
Week 1 - The Kingdom is at hand
The Gospel of Mark opens with urgency because Jesus is not announcing a distant hope, but a present reality. His first message is clear: “The time has come. The kingdom of God has come near.” Before any miracle, teaching, or confrontation, Jesus declares that God’s reign is breaking into the world right now. The Kingdom is not something we wait for after death—it is something we are invited to step into today. When Jesus calls His first disciples, He doesn’t ask them to prepare or delay; He calls them to respond immediately. Mark confronts us with a simple question: if the Kingdom is truly at hand, what are we still waiting for?
Week 2 - He Heals the Outcast
Jesus touches the untouchable and restores dignity. Shame isolates—but Jesus brings healing where religion excludes.
Week 3 - He Forgives First
Jesus goes straight for the soul before the surface. We want relief; He offers restoration. Jesus bankrupts the grave of guilt with His forgiveness.
Week 4 - He Calms the Storms
Jesus has power over chaos. Even when your boat is sinking, Jesus is still in control—and fear doesn’t get the final say.
Week 5 - He Binds the Broken
No one is too far gone for Jesus. Jesus meets us in our darkest places and speaks freedom over what’s been tormenting us.
Week 6 - He Multiplies what’s Lacking
Jesus turns lack into abundance. Whatever you’ve got, it’s enough in His hands. Scarcity has no power when He’s the source.
Week 7 - He Knows The Future
The road to life goes through surrender. Jesus doesn’t avoid the cross—He embraces it. He calls us to do the same.
Week 8 - Redefining Greatness
Jesus flips the script—impact isn’t measured by status, but by how we love and serve others.
Week 9 - Embracing Pain & Suffering
Jesus takes on sin and death head-on. The grave didn’t take Jesus’ life—He gave it up to bankrupt the grave for us all.
Week 10 - Bankrupt The Grave
The resurrection changes everything. Jesus walked out of the tomb, and with Him, every shame, wound, and fear that tried to bury us stays buried for good.
