Advent looks back to the cradle in Bethlehem, remembering a God who keeps His promises, and it looks forward in faith, trusting that the same Jesus who came once will come again. It’s not passive waiting; it makes us awake, alert, and expectant. We live differently now because the King has come—and because He is coming again. Each week reminds us of what His arrival brings into our lives today.
